Comrade Choe Son Hui, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), sent a message of greetings to Comrade Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), on October 1 on the occasion of the 76 th anniversary of the founding of the PRC.
In the message, she said that the Chinese people have made signal successes in accomplishing the cause of building socialism with the Chinese characteristics under the leadership of the Communist Party of China for the past 76 years since the founding of new China.
The commemorations of the 80 th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War held with splendor on September 3 marked an important occasion that clearly demonstrated the daily-growing overall national power and international position of the PRC, the message said, adding that the diplomatic fields of the two countries have assumed an important mission in consolidating and developing the traditional DPRK-China friendship as required by the new era.
In the message, she said that she was pleased that during her recent visit to China the in-depth views were exchanged and an important consensus of views was reached to thoroughly implement the agreement made by the top leaders of the two countries and promote friendly visits and practical cooperation between the DPRK and China.
She expressed the will to make joint efforts to more vigorously advance the DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations and boost exchange and cooperation between the diplomatic fields of the two countries.
