Kim Jong Un , general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from D. Medvedev on October 8.
The message said:
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un ,
I extend sincere congratulations to you on the occasion of the 80 th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
The WPK, which made a decisive contribution to the nation- building of the DPRK, is becoming a core force of social life under your wise leadership and playing a guiding role in defending the country’s sovereignty, independence and security.
The United Russia Party highly appreciates the constructive and trustworthy dialogue with the WPK based on the agreement on mutual collaboration and cooperation concluded on October 25, 2018.
I am convinced that we will achieve the great fruition with joint efforts in accomplishing the cause to jointly oppose neo-colonialist practices and interference in internal affairs of the states and preserve historical memories for the wellbeing of the peoples of our two countries consolidated by the bonds of militant friendship.

I hope that you would enjoy good health, everything would go well and the WPK would achieve prosperity and new successes.
