Talks between the representatives of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People’s Army and the delegation of the Military-Political General Department of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were held in Pyongyang on November 5.
Present at the talks from the DPRK side were Comrade Pak Yong Il, vice-director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People’s Army, and other leading members and from the Russian side were members of the delegation of the Military-Political General Department of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation headed by Comrade Viktor Goremuikin, Director of Military-Political General Department and vice-minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, and members of the military attaché office of the Russian embassy in the DPRK.
Discussed there were the issues of strengthening cooperation and exchange between the army political organs in line with the bilateral relations expanding under the strategic guidance of the heads of state of the two countries.
A reception for welcoming the delegation was given that evening.
