November 10 is the World Youth Day.
The youth problem is a vital one related to the future destiny of the nation in any country.
Young people in many countries of the world have been infected with extreme individualism and corrupt and depraved modes of life and they become the cause of social trouble.
Once, an organization for the study of youth issue in Europe conducted a poll among young people in over 50 cities in Europe. According to it, 40 percent of the pollees took theft for granted and half of them did not hesitate to answer that they had already used drugs.
In the United States, the percentage of students who have used marihuana more than once continues to grow, and in European countries, millions of young people are said to be abusing cocaine. It is an analysis of the media in capitalist countries that the youth crime reflected a wide range of difficult problems in society.
In the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, however, young people are demonstrating their might all over the world as the most vital detachment of the society.
In January, more than 800 young people in the capital city volunteered to work in major sectors of the national economy, making a pledge to add lustre to their autobiographies on the road for national prosperity. On the increase is the number of patriotic youth who decided to devote their lives at the important posts of the country, making a resolve to perfectly implement the new regional development policy of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Thanks to the indomitable struggle of the young vanguard with ardent love for and strong faith in socialism, grand monuments named after youth have been built in this country and the state is vigorously advancing with animation and vigour.
Many young people became companions of the honoured disabled soldiers who devoted themselves to the country and are bringing up orphans. Sportspeople win gold medals at international games for the honour and dignity of the Korean youth, demonstrating the prestige of the motherland all over the world.
That is why the world expresses envy and admiration, saying the DPRK, the youth power of Juche, is the most powerful country and the future of Korea is endlessly bright.
Thanks to such young people performing proud feats to be recorded in the history of the country, the DPRK will make an endless leap forward with lively youthfulness and advance vigorously towards a greater victory.
