The Central Election Committee for the Elections of Deputies to the 15th Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea issued the official report "On the Results of the Elections of Deputies to the 15th SPA of the DPRK" on March 16.
According to the official report, the elections of deputies to the 15th SPA of the DPRK were successfully held on March 15, 2026, thoroughly according to the Law on the Elections of Deputies to the People's Assemblies at All Levels amid the high political enthusiasm of all the electors at the grandiose time when a new struggle to greater creation and transformation has started along the bright path opened by the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
According to the results of the elections put together, 99.99 percent of the entire electors registered on the voter rolls across the country took part in the voting and those who failed to vote because they are abroad or in the open sea far from the land are 0.0037 percent and those who abstained from voting are 0.00003 percent.
Among the electors who took part in the voting, those who voted for the candidates were 99.93 percent and those who voted against were 0.07 percent. After all, 687 workers, peasants, intellectuals, service personnel and officials were elected to the SPA according to the DPRK Law on the Elections of Deputies to the People's Assemblies at All Levels.
This shows that the elected deputies to the SPA are patriotic citizens who have devotedly worked for the country and the people and they have the qualifications and abilities as political activists of the state who can discharge their important mission and responsibility in the struggle for implementing the decisions of the Ninth Party Congress corresponding to the requirements of the period of new great upsurge.
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea was, is and will be the eternal state of the people and our national sovereignty is the people's sovereignty which is built by all the Korean people.
The Central Election Committee for the Elections of Deputies to the 15th SPA of the DPRK made public the deputies to the SPA elected at all the constituencies from Mangyongdae Constituency No. 1 to Kumgangsan Constituency No. 687 by putting together the reports on the results of elections presented by all the constituency election committees across the country.
