The Hwangryongsan Green Technology Company has built a line of recycling waste concrete, which will be conducive to environmental protection and economic development.
Having achieved good results in the production of functional finishing building materials in the past, the company worked on a project to reuse the waste concrete.
What mattered in building the waste concrete recycling line was to develop the additives with which to restore the properties of cement, gravel and sand separated from the used concrete.
The gravel and sand separated out from the waste concrete are too porous to be reused intact.
A research team of the company succeeded in making new additives that help restore the used gravel and sand to their original states.
In addition, the research and development of the additive for recycling the used cement resulted in the establishment of a cost-effective recycling line. This additive was made with locally available materials.
The new technology has been highly appreciated at different local exhibitions.
