All the people across the DPRK are paying the highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il , eternal leaders of the Party, state and people and great sages of the revolution, greeting the hopeful New Year with the great pride and honor of having successfully concluded the historic struggle of 2025 for the overall development of socialist construction, rallied close around the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Kim Jong Un , general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on January 1 on the occasion of the New Year 2026.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was accompanied by leading officials of the Party and the government and senior officials of the Party Central Committee, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly, the Cabinet and ministries.
Also accompanying him were commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK.
Flower baskets were laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il .
Kim Jong Un , together with other visitors, paid high tribute to the statues of the great leaders.
At the halls where the President and the Chairman lie in state, he paid New Year greetings to the great leaders.
All the visitors made a firm pledge to fulfill their responsibility and duty in the vanguard of accomplishing the sacred cause for the eternal prosperity and development of the great DPRK and the promotion of the people’s wellbeing, true to the ideas and leadership of Kim Jong Un with single-minded loyalty.
