Song and dance performance given by Ministry of National Defence Song and Dance Ensemble

A song and dance performance of the Ministry of National Defence Song and Dance Ensemble was given at the Ponghwa Art Theatre in Pyongyang on the 8th on the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army.
The performance was enjoyed by Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Pak Jong Chon, Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the WPK and Secretary of the Party Central Committee, No Kwang Chol, Minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Jong Kyong Thaek, Director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, and other commanding personnel of the Ministry of National Defence, service personnel of the People's Army, participants in the overseas military operations, and officials and meritorious persons in Pyongyang.
The performance started with the male quintet and chorus "National Anthem of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea". Put on the stage were various items including revolutionary martial songs loudly sung on the glorious road of the revolutionary armed forces as well as famous songs on patriotism.
