Wang Yajun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, hosted a reception at his embassy on the 12th on the occasion of the lunar New Year's Day in 2026.
Invited to the reception were Kang Yun Sok, Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, officials concerned, and foreign diplomatic envoys and military attaches and their wives here.
Present there were staff members of the Chinese embassy, Chinese guests staying here and Chinese living in Korea.
The participants watched a video program showing the external revolutionary activities of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who attended the commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War and held historic DPRK-China summit meeting and talks.
Speeches were made at the reception.
Prior to the reception, the participants watched the tricks introducing the traditional culture of the Chinese people.
