Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) — Chairman Kim Jong Il gave ceaseless field guidance for the sake of the people all his life.
The number of units visited by the Chairman during his revolutionary leadership is more than 14,290.
Wherever he went and whoever he met, he always asked first if the people like or they feel happy.
There are some touching stories that our people recollect with deep emotion even now.
One day in September 2011 he visited the newly-built Pothongmun Street Fish and Meat Shop and asked officials accompanying him if the people like, seeing various kinds of meat products and canned goods.
That day, he said that the employees of the shop should be well aware of the people’s demand and conduct commercial service activities in conformity with it, thus providing the people with a happier life.
When he visited the Amusement Park of the Kaeson Youth Park in cold winter in the last period of his life, he asked officials how many people come there and if the people like the park. He was very pleased to hear that the people really liked it.
When he visited a fish farm, he also acquainted himself with its output and supply and asked if the servicepersons and people like.
As mentioned above, the legends about love for the people were created wherever he went and the people’s happiness grew day by day under his care.
Indeed, the Chairman was the benevolent father of the people who devoted his whole life to them, saying that he always found his joy and worth of life in their happiness.
