One day in August 2019, therespected Comrade Kim Jong Unvisited the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort under construction.
Watching the magnificentappearance of the modern hot spring resort, which had been transformed beyondrecognition, he expressed great satisfaction, saying that it changed into a reallywonderful place and it was indeed a tremendous change.
He said with great pleasurethat the People’s Army created and opened up a new culture, that a new field ofcultural and emotional life combining a ski area and hot spring recreation wasbrought about and that people would like it very much when they come to see it.
Saying that the hot spring waterwelling up in the Yangdok County hot spring resort was like honeyed water, he instructedthat the natural resources of the country should be actively developed and effectivelyused so that the people could benefit from them.
That day, looking affectionatelyat the officials who were filled with solemn feelings, he said it would be goodto have a hot spring resort in each province, adding that the provinces may buildhot spring resorts in different styles by sustaining their regionalcharacteristics and thus build more cultural recreation facilities conducive tothe promotion of people’s health and treatment of diseases, so as to open up anew field of cultural and emotional life.
Thanks to the noble intentionand devotion to the people of the respected General Secretary, who ushers in anew era of great change in the country as a great pioneer and creator ofsocialist civilization translating the people’s ideals into reality, structuresfor the wellbeing of the people are constantly rising up on this land.
