On May Day in 2023, the finalmatches of the sports competition of workers in the metallurgical industrysector-2023 were played. That evening a senior official of the Cabinet unexpectedlyreceived a phone call from the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
After asking about the resultsof the final matches held at Kim Il SungStadium, the General Secretary said that the matches seemed to have gone well,adding that the players of the Chollima Steel Complex who won the football gameand prizes might be happy.
Then, he said worriedly that theplayers of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex might be depressed.
After a while, he benevolentlytold him to give them the same prizes as those awarded to the players of the ChollimaSteel Complex.
Thus, the following day, theplayers of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex received the unusual "prizes",which would be recorded in the history of the complex and the history of thedevelopment of the country’s metallurgical industry, at the Cabinet building,not at the stadium.
