One day in May 2023, the finals of the sports contest of workers in the metallurgical industry sector-2023 took place with splendour at Kim Il Sung Stadium in the capital city of Pyongyang.
The finals were held between the teams of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex and the Chollima Steel Complex.
The players unfolded wonderful scenes and the stadium was filled with cheers of spectators.
That evening, Comrade Kim Jong Un called a senior official of the Cabinet and received a report from him on the result of the finals. He said that the finals held today seemed successful, and that the players from the Chollima Steel Complex who won the football match and received the prizes must have been pleased.
Then, he said that he wondered whether the players from the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex were dispirited, adding that the same prizes just as those awarded to their rivals should be given to them.
The following day, the players from the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex received unusual prizes, which were associated with Comrade Kim Jong Un ’s loving care and trust, at the Cabinet building, not at the stadium.
