On December ２８ last year, a modern paper mill was completed and inaugurated in Unsan County to pioneer another realm of putting regional industry on an advanced basis.

The respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who attended the inauguration ceremony, personally cut the inauguration tape amid the enthusiastic cheers of the participants.

After warmly acknowledging the cheers of the participants, he met the officials, scientists and technicians of the State Academy of Sciences present at the ceremony and encouraged them who had made great contributions to the development of the country’s paper-making industry in our Party’s spirit of self-respect and independence.

Then he looked round the mill.

He watched the multi-purpose paper machine in operation with a smile on his face, picturing the happy looks of the people to use paper produced at the mill.

The accompanying officials also marveled at the paper-making equipment arranged at the mill.

They recollected December ３ when the respected Comrade General Secretary inspected the Unsan Paper Mill while he was learning about the conditions of the regional-industry factories nearing completion.

Then and there, he entered the paper production room of the mill and looked at the paper machine in delight.

Suddenly, he headed toward a working ladder installed at the machine.

He climbed the narrow and steep ladder to listen to the explanation of an official of the State Academy of Sciences and highly praised the achievement.

He moved on to the next course only after stressing the need to properly install working ladders for fully ensuring labor safety.

This was not all.

Looking round the mill, he took measures to reduce the noises made by machines, of which everyone had taken no notice.

The respected Comrade General Secretary paid great attention to providing the working class with wonderful working conditions, regardless of the pains he takes for the greater happiness of our people.

The officials of the mill keenly realized, looking back upon the meaningful story of that day, that the devotion the respected Comrade General Secretary makes for the brilliant reality of regional transformation serves as the foundation of all the wealth for the happiness of the people mushrooming throughout the country.

The officials and employees of the mill still make up their minds to put the production on a normal footing, true to the noble will of the great father to turn our country into the people’s paradise as early as possible.
