Pyongyang, July 16 (KCNA) -- Supreme leader Kim Jong Un was presented with a letter by the members of the delegation of the General Association of Koreans in China headed by Chairwoman Choe Un Bok on Tuesday before leaving the homeland.
They said in the letter that they recollected again with deep emotion all sorts of hardships President Kim Il Sung suffered for more than 70 years and his great immortal exploits by participating in various memorial events held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his demise and deeply enshrined them in their hearts.
Highly praising the exploits performed by the President in his lifetime, they stressed that history records many famous persons and leaders who claimed to have worked for people, but there is no such a great leader of the people, distinguished teacher of global progressive mankind and defender of justice and truth who devoted himself to the freedom and happiness of the people, national reunification and final victory of the cause of independence against imperialism till the last moments of his life as Kim Il Sung.
They recalled that very busy as he was with state affairs, Kim Jong Un remembered overseas Koreans who miss the President very much, invited them to attend the memorial event commemorating the 20th anniversary of demise of the President and take its platform, made sure that they put up at the de luxe guesthouse and hotel and took such measures as sending officials to take warm care of them so that they might not feel any slightest inconvenience.
The letter expressed their resolution to devote all their efforts to the patriotic work for realizing the desire of the President and leader Kim Jong Il for building a thriving nation, always remaining true to the noble intention of Kim Jong Un. -0-
