Kim Jong Un , Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a congratulatory message from Ram Nath Kovind, President of the Republic of India, on May 9.
The Indian President in the message said that he was pleased to extend warm greetings and felicitations to Kim Jong Un upon his re-election as Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK.
The message said that the India-DPRK ties have traditionally been marked by friendship and cordiality.
The message hoped that the ties of traditional friendship would continue to grow strong.
To this end the Indian President hoped to closely work with Kim Jong Un for the mutual benefits of the two peoples.
