The sacred history of our revolution is the one of great victory of the idea of independence, self-support and self-defence.
Our country has been built and developed into the Juche-oriented socialist country of epoch-making miracles under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il as they led our revolutionary cause to victory consistently on the steadfast principle of independence in the severe difficulties caused by the high-handed and arbitrary practices of imperialists and dominationists.
For our people who learned how to live on their own, overcome enemies and ordeals and defend their dignity and rights and enjoyed all glory and honor under the guidance of the great leaders, going through all difficulties of the revolution, there is no other way but the road of independence, self-support and self-defence.
This road is the only one for defending the dignity of our state and people.
It is the shortcut to hastening the cause of building a powerful socialist country.
If we hesitate or deviate from this road even a moment, we will lose the value of existence as revolutionaries.
All the officials, Party members and other working people should break through head-on the barriers to our revolution and dynamically open a road of victorious advance as pioneers and standard-bearers in the ongoing struggle for realizing the aspirations and ideals of building a powerful socialist country.
