Jo Yong Man, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, met and had a talk on May 3 with Kali Prasad Pokhrel, Joint Secretary of Northeast Asia Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.
Both sides informed about the preventive measures taken recently by their respective countries against the spread of large-scale pandemic and the results achieved in their efforts, and exchanged views on the issues of mutual interest including the development of bilateral relations.
The Joint Secretary expressed appreciation of the fact that no single case of the novel coronavirus infections was found in the DPRK under the wide leadership of H.E. Supreme Leader and said that it is a result of the correct policy of the DPRK government which gives top priority to the safety of the people.
