The advanced technology institute of the Pyongyang Technology Corporation has recently developed information communications equipment and programs.
“Our recent product, the IP environment monitor system, is conducive to monitoring and maintaining large-scale communications systems with the combination of various kinds of equipment,” said Rim Yong Jin, director of the institute.
The institute has developed an integrated production management system for electronic equipment production processes.
The car checkup app 1.0 enables drivers to easily grasp the engine condition and breakdowns in real time without going to garages or professional manufacturing units. It is the first program in the country that applied OBD-II, an SAE and ISO standards for monitoring the internal state of engines.
Compatible with smart phones and tablet PCs, the app reads the systematic breakdown information recorded in the engine so that the user can understand and manage the engine condition on a regular basis.
“Shortly ago, we developed a construction toy control program which helps develop the power of logical thinking and imagination among children,” said Rim. “Users can write a control program with a graphic language on a tablet PC or smart phone and control the construction toy at their will.”
