Kim Jong Un , Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message on August 9 to H.E. Halimah Yacob, President of the Republic of Singapore.
The message reads as follows.
On behalf of the government and people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, I extend my warm congratulations to you and the government and people of your country on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Singapore.
Our people always harbor good feelings towards your friendly country and wish your people ever continuous success in their efforts for building a developed and prosperous Singapore.
I express my conviction that the friendly and cooperative ties existing between our two countries would further expand and develop in various fields under the idea of independence, peace and friendship.
