Premier Kim Tok Hun, who is member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, inspected the agricultural sector in counties of South Hwanghae Province including Anak, Sinchon and Jaeryong.
Making the rounds of the fields on several farms including the Oguk Cooperative Farm in Anak County and the Saegil Cooperative Farm in Sinchon County, he referred to the need to raise the proportion of mechanization in autumn harvesting by carefully organizing the repair and maintenance of rice harvesters and threshers and to ensure the smooth production and supply of efficient farm machines and parts at the Haeju Tractor Parts Factory.
At the Samjigang and Kanggyo cooperative farms in Jaeryong County, the Premier put a special emphasis on the measures to arouse the farmers’ enthusiasm for farming by effectively applying the field assignment system within the framework of the sub-workteam management system and increase the per-hectare yield by widely introducing scientific farming methods.
