Ri Sung Gil, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, met and had a talk with Mervin Maldonado, Minister of People’s Power for Youth and Sports of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on November 11.
The Minister said that the Party, government and people of Venezuela have firm will to strengthen and develop mutual support and cooperation with the DPRK under the banner of anti-imperialism and independence, and he expressed his readiness to strive for realizing exchange and cooperation with the DPRK.
He also expressed his hope for greater successes by the Korean people in preparing the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea under the wise leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Un of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK who is dedicating himself to the prosperity of the country and people’s well-being.
