Mun Jong Nam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the Syrian Arab Republic, met and had a talk with Lubanah Mshaweh, Minister of Culture of the Syrian Arab Republic, on November 24.
The Minister noted with appreciation the big successes being achieved at the 80-day campaign of the DPRK – the lead-up to a significant opening of the 8th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea – under the wise leadership of His Excellency Kim Jong Un , and said that the government and people of Syria extend full support to the struggle of the government and people of the DPRK for national economic development and improvement of people’s life.
She expressed her willingness to further strengthen and develop the bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation – common asset of the peoples of two countries – especially closer cultural cooperation and exchanges in the context of excellent political relations.
