Everything for the Coming Generation

West Coast Exchange, North Korea Watcher Conference, Sept. 2026

Thanks to the noble love of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the coming generation and future, the song “We are the Happiest in the World” echoes as ever on this land year after year and generation after generation.

In the top-notch stylish Camps of Children’s Union and Palaces of Schoolchildren and Orphans’ Primary and Secondary Schools fit with wonderful educational conditions and environment, all the schoolchildren are learning to their hearts’ contents in the benefit of free education under the warm care of the state while making their beautiful dreams come true and carrying their wishes into full effect. All the children also grow up in good shape of health under the free medical care system and the policy on preventive medicine.

The world of humanity, where even the words of “sorrow of an orphan” were gone for good, spreads open as the Party and state set up the orphanages and baby homes at scenic spots and the whole society shows tender loving care to the orphans as their own flesh and blood.

Mass media of various countries of the world such as those of Uganda, Indonesia, Nepal and Egypt are raising voices of admiration for the state policy of ours whereby children are given prominence as kings and queens of the country and nothing is spared for their laughter and happiness. Mass media said that DPRK children are looked after and brought up entirely at state expense and the system of free education is in effect at universities and in extracurricular activities as well as at the primary and secondary schools. Mass media also noted that anyone in the DPRK is under free medical treatment when they get sick saying that such a social policy is equally enforced for children without parents.

A social system with a shadow on the faces of children does not have a future however it may be showy and glittery at its appearance. But a country, which is radiant with joy of children, holds a promising future.

Love for the coming generation has become a top priority of all national priorities in our country under the wise leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un , President of the State Affairs of the DPRK. As in the past, so also in the future, cheerful voices of children laughing and singing would reverberate far and wide in our country, and a bright future would lie in store for us.
