A photo exhibition took place on May 7 at the Embassy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) in Beijing to mark the third anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un ‘s visits to China.
Displayed at the exhibition hall were photos showing Kim Jong Un paying visits to China three times in Juche 107 (2018).
Present at the exhibition were Ri Ryong Nam, DPRK Ambassador to China, and his Embassy members.
There were also Song Tao, Head of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and officials of the Chinese party and government including those of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Ri Ryong Nam in his speech said that the visits to China by General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) Kim Jong Un offered another crucial occasion that opened up a new chapter of the DPRK-China friendship, noting that the DPRK would develop the traditional DPRK-China friendly relations in conformity with the noble intention of the leaders of the two parties and the desire, wish and fundamental interests of the peoples of the two countries.
He expressed expectations that the CPC and people of China would make achievements in the historic journey for building a comprehensively well-off modern socialist country under the leadership of Xi Jinping and significantly greet the centenary of the founding of the CPC.
Song Tao in his speech stressed that they would propel the China-DPRK relations to make them continue to reach a new stage, noting that the Central Committee of the CPC with Xi Jinping at the core sets great store by the traditional China-DPRK friendship.
He wished the Korean people bigger successes in the path to implement the decisions made at the Eighth Party Congress and develop the socialist cause under the guidance of the WPK led by General Secretary Kim Jong Un .
Then the participants looked round the exhibition hall.
Similar photo exhibitions were also held at the DPRK Consulate General in Shenyang of China and its branch in Dandong on the same day.
