China and Russia Censure U.S. for Incurring Afghanistan Crisis

The international society is now growing vocal in its condemnation of the United States over the crisis in Afghanistan.

During the telephone conversation with the U.S. State Secretary on August 16, the Chinese Foreign Minister said that the reality has proved that the mechanical copy of other country’s method would not work, making it ultimately difficult to set foot, and that the U.S. should earnestly reflect on the lesson that any solution through high-handedness and military means would trigger much more problems.

A spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry has also blamed the U.S. for incurring this crisis, contending that the war in Afghanistan launched by the U.S. under the pretext of counter-terrorism took a heavy toll, killing or wounding a large number of civilians and generated many refugees during the past 20 years.

The spokesperson called on the U.S. to earnestly reflect on its policy which has become habituated to the war and military intervention against other countries and to refrain from interfering in the internal affairs of other countries and undermining peace under the signboard of “democracy” and “human rights”, highlighting the fact that the legacies left behind by the U.S. in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan are nothing but anxiety, disruption and destruction.

Voices of denouncing the U.S. are also heard in Russia.

Underlining the point that the confrontation between the government troops of Afghanistan and the Taliban forces resulted from the American unconstructive “thinking”, the official spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry strongly denounced the U.S., the main culprit behind the crisis in Afghanistan, saying, inter alia, that the whole world is shocked by the event caused by the U.S.

Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of State Duma of Russia also stated that the prevailing crisis in Afghanistan is the product of the irresponsible policies pursued by the U.S. and its allies.

The reality of increased criticism of the U.S. by many countries across the world substantiates the fact that the U.S. is indeed the main culprit undermining the global peace and stability and the root cause of escalated tension.
