Righteous Cause of Cuban People Will Surely Emerge Victorious

Date: 15/10/2021 | Source: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (EN) | Read original version at source

Cuban government has recently designated November 20 as “National Defense Day” and decided to conduct a nationwide military drill from November 18 to 20.

The Cuban government’s decision to set “National Defense Day” and to conduct a nationwide military drill is a legitimate right of the sovereign state and a demonstration of its strong will to defend the sovereignty of the country.

Nevertheless, the United States is denouncing this measure of the Cuban government as an “attempt to frighten its people and to suppress what is called a protest of its citizens.”

This is obviously an act of overtly intervening in other country’s internal affairs.

In retrospect, the aggression and intervention by the hostile forces against the Cuban people as well as their attempts for internal disturbances continued ceaselessly for over 60 years since the victory in Cuban revolution, and these attempts are becoming ever more vicious in recent days.

No one has the right to denounce the Cuba’s efforts to prepare the entire army and people more thoroughly for the national defense to cope with these developments.

The Cuban people have long pushed forward vigorous efforts for the economic development and the strengthening of national defense under the uplifted slogan of “production and national defense”, and in this course they have successfully deterred the challenges of the hostile forces.

The righteous cause of the Cuban people to defend their fatherland and revolution as well as the gains of socialism against the ever-increasing challenges of the hostile forces will surely emerge victorious.
