Cleaning Domestic Garbage Is Better Advised

Ruthless violation of human dignity and rights, and infliction of slave fate upon human beings constitute crimes against humanity which directly hinder the realization of independence of humankind and the development of civilization. Thus, these acts have long been the subject of accusation and denunciation by the world people.

It is in this context that the United Nations adopted the Convention for the Suppression of the Traffic in Persons and of the Exploitation of the Prostitution of Others in December 1949 and designated December 2 as “International Day for the Abolition of Slavery.”

Now several decades since then, the criminal acts of enslaving people are yet growing rife, evoking great concern from the international society.

More than 800,000 people fall victims to human trafficking worldwide annually, and the total number of people subjected to the contemporary forms of slavery reach nearly 40 million. The overwhelming majority of them are from the developing countries, and most places where the trafficked people are forced into slave life are the U.S. and the Western countries. What do all these facts indicate to the humankind?

These indicate that the main habitats of human trafficking and contemporary forms of slavery are none other than the U.S. and the Western countries.

The interference and aggression by the U.S. and the West for the purposes of the world supremacy and their infinite pursuit of profits are forcing the developing countries into ceaseless social chaos and economic stagnation, and the numerous people are driven into the refugees. Paradoxically, their final destinations are the U.S. and the Western countries.

The reason behind is that the U.S. and the West are hyping themselves as if people can live on windfall gains in their countries, and that they are also posing themselves as “human rights defenders”, “advanced countries in the field of human rights” in order to cover up their incurable maladies of human rights.

Naïve refugees are deluded into choosing the voyage to the West, motivated by the false propaganda.  But what do they really end up with?

Human traffickers make as much profits as nearly USD 150 billion annually by tempting and selling the refugees with such honeyed words as job offer and issuance of passport. Because of these criminals, many people are reduced into the contemporary slaves, most often with awareness.

Caught up in the black market network of human trafficking which is cobwebbed all over the world, hundreds of thousands of people are annually taken to the U.S., only to be forced into hard labor and prostitution without any legal protection. The situation of the Europe is more or less the same.

Sale without demand can never exist. The prevailing crime associated with the contemporary forms of slavery is entirely attributable to the U.S. and the West which institutionally connive at and promote forced labor and racism.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the U.S. and the West continue to stage the ridiculous tragicomedies of habitually picking on “human trafficking” in the developing countries and establishing “human rights grade” by their own yardstick, and consequently imposing sanctions and pressure on them.

The world people are ridiculing and denouncing the ludicrous behavior of the U.S. and the West which are wildly attempting to control the world by “human rights” plots, being unaware of their standing as kingpins of human rights tragedies as they are devoid of basic faculty of logical thinking.

It would be better for the U.S. and the West to dedicate themselves to cleaning their domestic garbage, keeping in mind that they are the very countries responsible for the world-shocking human trafficking and the contemporary forms of slavery.
