A meeting was held on November 30 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the electronic automation designing institute.
It was attended by O Su Yong, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Ju Yong Il, minister of Information Industry, relevant officials and officials and employees of the institute.
O Su Yong delivered a congratulatory message the WPK Central Committee sent to designers and employees of the institute who greeted the 50th founding anniversary.
The WPK Central Committee said in the congratulatory message that the history of the institute, which started in November 1971 when there was an upsurge in implementing the three major tasks of the technological revolution put forward by the Fifth Party Congress, was the years of worthwhile efforts for supporting the Party’s line of putting the national economy on a Juche, modern and scientific basis with profound knowledge and technology, and highly praised the officials and employees of the institute for having made successes in breaking through the cutting edge in their post responsible for designing which forms the basis of industry, and contributed to promoting the independent and modern development of the national economy.
At the meeting, Kim Jae Song, head of the electronics industry management bureau, made a report, followed by other speeches and the adoption of a resolution.
