"Our Solar Plant Agency was visited by the great leader Kim Jong Il in the last period of his life.
10 years ago, on October 9, Juche 100(2011) officials including me were very pleased to meet him they had wanted to see even in dream.
Beaming all over his face, Kim Jong Il shook hands with us one by one.
Looking at a solar water heater and various other products we made, he said with pleasure: The structure of the equipment is simple and the heat-collecting effect is very high. If such solar water heaters are set up in dwelling houses and public buildings, it will be possible to solve heating problem of the buildings and the people will be able to use hot water throughout the year.
He wore a bright smile on his face, as if picturing the happy people to himself. Looking up to him, we were greatly moved.
Kim Jong Il regarded all things, big or small, as important ones if they are helpful to the people's living. So he was so pleased at their success though it was small.
That day, he made a promise to meet again when the solar water heater is popular among people.
But it seemed as if the sky fell when we heard the sad news that he passed away quite unexpectedly due to his pent-up fatigue on the road of field guidance.
We couldn't believe it. When he called on us two months ago, Kim Jong Il said with great pleasure that the people would like the solar water heater and made a promise to meet again when it is popular among people.
We don't forget the promise he made on the day.
We are making positive efforts to produce more fashionable and wonderful products favoured by the people as he desired in his lifetime."
