Political party figures of Italy and Romania released a press statement and an article on the occasion of the 77th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Roberto Gabriele, General Secretary of the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy, in the press statement contributed to the magazine "La Voce" under the title "DPRK Which Has Written Only Victory and Glory", said the foundation of the DPRK by the great leader Kim Il Sung on September 9, 1948, was a historic event that heralded the birth of an independent state centred on the masses of the people for the first time in the world.
Vasile Orleanu, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Socialist Party of Romania, in an article posted on the internet homepage, said the first people's democratic state was born in the East according to the original idea and line of Kim Il Sung on nation building and that the DPRK has defended its independent dignity and the destiny of the people and laid a firm foundation for powerful defence capabilities and self-supporting economy in the historic course of the severe Fatherland Liberation War, the postwar rehabilitation and the socialist construction.
