With the nationwide anti-epidemic situation showing positive trend, officials, members of the Workers’ Party of Korea, other working people and service personnel concentrate efforts on completely blocking and eliminating the main sources of the infectious disease.

Party organizations at all levels conduct a dynamic ideological offensive to ensure all officials and working people join the anti-epidemic campaign with a firm confidence that it is the decisive guarantee of victory in the anti-epidemic war to fully arm themselves with and thoroughly implement the Party’s lines and policies.

The Cabinet and public health and scientific research fields hold discussions to analyze the causes of having failed to sensitively respond to the grave epidemic crisis created in the country, experience of medical treatment of the infectious disease and their merits and demerits and undertake research into reasonable ways to proactively and rapidly develop the state capability for dealing with the crisis, and make preparations to this end.

All regions, sectors and units across the country strictly enforce the lockdown by regions and isolation by units to tightly shut off all transmission routes of the infectious disease and openings for its spread.

The emergency anti-epidemic and public health sectors ensure medical examinations are given to those personnel who contact many people including anti-epidemic and medical workers and mobile service team members in a more responsible way and they are fully provided with self-protective capacity such as the personal protective equipment.

They scientifically analyzed and synthesized data on the medical examinations of all people according to provinces, cities, counties and objects and take timely measures properly on the basis of them.

Each region, sector and unit work to eliminate the main sources of spread following the courses of outbreak of fever while positively encouraging the dissemination of information that is helpful in medical treatment and prevention of the infectious disease for all employees and residents.

Medics of the Korean People’s Army who spearhead the anti-epidemic campaign in Pyongyang formed dozens of mobile medical treatment and medicine supply teams and volunteered to work at the units where there are many people with fever. There they supply medicines and provide medical treatment, health foods and other daily necessities to many needy families, giving full play to the noble traits of army-people unity.

At present the special characters of the course of the disease of the people with fever have been observed and analyzed more closely on a full scale to establish an optimized scientific dosage of medicine of a Korean style, making rapid progress in the treatment of the disease.

The pharmaceutical and medical appliances factories throughout the country also increase the production of medicines and medical appliances.
