Those Who Like Playing with Fire Are Destined to Be Burnt to Death

Date: 12/07/2022 | Source: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (EN) | Read original version at source

Lately, reconnaissance planes and strategic assets of the U.S. frequently fly over the airspace around the Korean peninsula, presenting ill-boding military moves.

From late June to early July, special reconnaissance planes “RC-135U”, “RC-135S” of the U.S Air Force and “RC-12X” reconnaissance plane of the U.S. forces stationed in south Korea were heavily engaged in espionage against the DPRK, making shuttle flights in the skies around the Korean peninsula.

On July 5, for the first time in 4 years and 7 months, six “F-35A” stealth fighters of the U.S Air Force flew into south Korea to conduct a joint aerial military exercise with south Korea. And strategic bomber “B-1B” of the U.S. deployed on Guam has reportedly been on a standby alert since the beginning of June.

The U.S. continuously dispatches reconnaissance planes and strategic assets to and around the Korean peninsula, becoming frenzied in anti-DPRK confrontation. This fact clearly shows once again that there is not a slight change in its wild dream to stifle the DPRK by force.

Even the U.S. media and experts assess as follows; the main task of the “F-35A” stealth fighters is to destroy the key targets of north Korea, and the purpose of putting “B-1B” on standby alert, which would be the first to enter the Korean peninsula and carry out operations in an emergency, is aimed at putting military pressure on north Korea.

Owing to the reckless military provocations of the U.S., the Korean peninsula is exposed to an extreme danger where the war can break out at any moment.

Joint military exercises targeting us are brazenly carried out and all sorts of air strategic assets fly in the vicinity of the Korean peninsula at any time, posing a threat to us. This reality has urged upon us the need to steadily strengthen the national defense capabilities in order to smash the ever-increasing military provocations of the U.S.

Those who like playing with fire are destined to be burnt to death.
