Friendly Gathering Held in Mongolia

A friendly gathering took place in Ulan Bator of Mongolia on August 10 to mark the 62nd anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il's start of leadership over the revolutionary armed forces and the 77th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
Present at the gathering were personages and members of Juche idea study organizations and the organization for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in Mongolia, including the Mongolian Centre for the Study of Juche, the Mongolian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea-Songun Idea and the Mongolian Cultural and Research Center of the DPRK, and the DPRK ambassador to Mongolia and his embassy officials.
Speeches were made there.
The DPRK ambassador referred to the revolutionary feats of President Kim Il Sung, who accomplished the national-historic cause of liberating the country through the hard-fought anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, and of Chairman Kim Jong Il who had strengthened the Korean People's Army into an invincible revolutionary army and bolstered up the military capability of the country in every way for a long time since he began his guidance over the revolutionary armed forces.
The chairperson of the Mongolian Centre for the Study of Juche said that Kim Il Sung defeated the Japanese imperialism styling itself "leader of Asia" by advancing the independent line for armed struggle and leading the great bloody anti-Japanese war to victory without the state-backing home front and the support of an regular army.
The executive chairperson of the Mongolian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea-Songun Idea highly praised the world-historic feats Kim Jong Il performed to defend the sovereignty of the country and the happiness of the people and dynamically advance the socialist cause by enforcing the Songun politics in the closing years of the last century, the period when the DPRK was in unprecedented difficulties.
Noting that the feats of the President and the Chairman for the development of the traditional relations of friendship between Mongolia and the DPRK are kept in the mind of the peoples of the two countries, the chairperson of the Mongolian Cultural and Research Center of the DPRK said that the DPRK people would surely achieve the comprehensive development of socialism under the guidance of Comrade Kim Jong Un.
