It was September 9 Juche 37(1948).
That day Kim Il Sung formed the Cabinet of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea at the first session of the Supreme People’s Assembly.
The elected members of the Cabinet went through deliberation with unanimous approval.
Then thunderous cheers went up in the venue of the meeting.
As Kim Il Sung formed the government of the Republic, the birth of the DPRK was declared to the whole world as wished by the Koreans so fervently.
The founding of the DPRK enabled the Korean people to become a dignified people creating a new life as masters of their own destiny and Korea to enter the international arena as a fully-fledged independent, sovereign state.
On September 9 1948, the whole country was filled with excitement and jubilation.
