Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Reply Message from General Secretary Xi Jinping

Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), on November 22 received a reply message from Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The message said:
Recently, the WPK Central Committee and you, General Secretary, sent warm congratulatory messages on the convocation of the 20 th CPC Congress and my reelection as the General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee.
This shows that you and the WPK Central Committee place great importance on the development of the China-DPRK ties with the friendly sentiments toward me and the Chinese Party and people.
On behalf of the CPC Central Committee and on my own behalf, I would like to express heartfelt thanks to you and the WPK Central Committee and extend sincere greetings to you and the Korean Party and people.
I attach great importance to the China-DPRK relations.
In recent years, you and I reached a series of important common understanding through several meetings and led the China-DPRK relations to the opening of a new chapter in history and thus promoted the political solution to the issue of the Korean peninsula, reliably protected the common interests of the peoples in the two countries, firmly defended the socialist cause of the two countries and creditably safeguarded the peace and stability in the region and the rest of the world.
The world, the times and history are now changing in an unprecedented way.
Under the new situation, I am ready, together with you, to make a fresh and positive contribution to providing the peoples of the two countries with better well-being, promoting the development of the socialist cause in the two countries, and hastening the peace, stability, development and prosperity of the region and the rest of the world by intensifying the work to plan and guide the bilateral ties and defending, consolidating and developing them with credit.
I hope that you will make fresh and greater successes in accomplishing the cause of socialist construction in the DPRK by leading the Korean Party and people.
