More Young People Volunteer to Work in Major Sectors of National Economy

Dozens of more young people in South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK volunteered to work at major national economic sectors.
Young people of various units in the province proposed to the youth league organizations that they would be sent to coal mines of the Hamnam Area Coal Mining Complex.
Young people in Kumya, Pukchong, Toksong, Sinhung and Yonggwang counties volunteered to work on fruit farms and farms.
Those in Hungnam District of Hamhung City, Jongphyong County and Rakwon County who volunteered to work at the fishery, stockbreeding and forest management units are full of determination to display the spirit of young vanguard at the new revolutionary posts.
More than 30 young people in Tanchon City, Riwon County and other parts of the province joined the construction field and road platoons.
A meeting took place at the Hamhung Grand Theatre on November 30 to congratulate the volunteers.
Present at the meeting were Ri Jong Nam, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials of the youth league and youth and students. Certificates were awarded to the volunteers and congratulatory speeches and oath-taking speeches were made.
At the end of the meeting officials and young people in the province warmly sent off the volunteers.
