Bases for Cultural and Leisure Activities Conveying His Warm Love for People

A Driveway Removed
It was one day when the construction of the Mirim Riding Club was in full swing.
The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the construction site early in the morning.
When he reached the indoor riding exercise hall, he stopped for a while and said to the accompanying officials that he didn’t see the reason why a driveway was built to the entrance of the indoor riding exercise hall. Then he added that it may be built for him but he didn’t wish for such privilege and preferential treatment.
The officials were so impatient.
As it was in the midst of the construction, the area was not rezoned yet and the way was sometimes muddy.
Therefore, the officials regarded it as their deserved duty to build a driveway for the respected General Secretary.
The respected General Secretary, who had comprehended their inward thoughts, emphasized that the riding club was not for him but for our people and thus the driveway must be removed soon.
In this way, the driveway was removed.
Indeed, the respected General Secretary is the benevolent father of our people who finds happiness in devoting himself to people without wishing for any privilege and preferential treatment.
Displaced Refrigerators
One October day in Juche 103(2014), the respected General Secretary visited the Yonphung Scientists Holiday Camp near inauguration.
He entered into the vestibule of the holiday building No.5 and meticulously rectified some shortcomings one after another revealed in arranging furnishings in it.
Accompanying officials were deeply moved.
Looking up to him, they thought our scientists were so happy ones as the respected General Secretary took such meticulous care even after providing them with a magnificent holiday camp.
After a while, the respected General Secretary instructed them to set a refrigerator in the vestibule.
Actually every bedroom of the holiday camp had a refrigerator respectively.
When an official informed him of that, the respected General Secretary said that it was not appropriate to put refrigerators in bedrooms because the whir of refrigerators would disturb the holidayers’ sleep and added that the refrigerator should be put in vestibules.
Thus, the refrigerators were moved to vestibules.
