The Sixth Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea was held through video conferencing on February 1.
Present there were members and alternate members of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea.
Also on hand as observers were officials of the Union in the capital and the provinces.
The meeting discussed issues including the one on thoroughly carrying out the decisions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Yun Chol, Vice-Chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, made a report, which was followed by speeches.
The reporter and speakers called on all the officials and members of the Union to unconditionally hit the goal of agricultural production this year, the third year of the implementation of the five-year plan, contribute to providing a firm guarantee for the sustainable and stable development of agriculture and thus demonstrate the might of the advance force in the implementation of the program of socialist rural construction presented by the Party.
The meeting adopted a relevant decision on the basis of the study of its draft.
