An enlarged meeting of the Eighth Plenary Meeting of the Tenth Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League was held on February 2 through videoconferencing.
It was attended by members and alternate members of the Central Committee of the SPYL.
Present there as observers were officials of the youth league central committee, youth league officials of ministries and national agencies and officials from provincial, city and county committees of the youth league.
The meeting discussed such issues as of thoroughly implementing the decisions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the tasks set forth in the important letter “Let Us March towards the Future as a Powerful Country under the Unfurled Flag of the Korean Children’s Union” the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent to those attending the Ninth Congress of the Korean Children’s Union.
Mun Chol, chairman of the youth league central committee, delivered a report relating to the agenda item on thoroughly implementing the decisions of the plenary meeting of the WPK Central Committee.
He stressed that all youth league officials and members should fully demonstrate their might as pathfinders, a legion of patriotic young people, on the general onward march in the struggle to glorify this year of great significance by turning out as one in the implementation of the grand struggle policy put forward by the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK.
Speeches were made.
Speakers expressed their resolve to prepare youth league members to be true youth vanguard who devote themselves to the building of a thriving country with pure loyalty to the Party and ardent patriotism by bravely innovating work attitude and way of work with the Party's ideas and policies as absolute standards.
The meeting also discussed assignments for youth league organizations to thoroughly carry out the tasks set forth in the aforesaid letter.
Decisions relating to the agenda items were adopted at the meeting.
