Congratulations to Chairman of NPC Standing Committee of China

Choe Ryong Hae, chairman of the Standing Committing of the Supreme People’s Assembly (SPA) of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), on March 10 sent a congratulatory message to Zhao Leji on his election as chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
He, in the message, said that the First Session of the 14 th NPC of China, held amid the great interest and expectation of the public at home and abroad, marked an important occasion of greatly encouraging the Chinese people in the struggle to implement the tasks of the 20 th Party Congress.
The Chinese people have achieved many successes in the new journey for building a modern socialist state on a full scale under the leadership of the Communist Party of China with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core, the message noted.
Hoping that exchange and cooperation between the SPA Standing Committee of the DPRK and the NPC Standing Committee of China would be actively promoted to develop the traditional DPRK-China friendly relations onto a new higher stage, true to the noble intention of the leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, the message sincerely wished Zhao Leji good health and success in his work.
