Enlarged plenary meetings of Pyongyang City and provincial committees of WPK held Enlarged plenary meetings of the Party committees of Pyongyang City and provinces took place between the 15th and the 19th to carry through the decisions of the Seventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Present at the meetings were members and alternate members of the provincial Party committees. Also on hand as observers were officials of the Party and government organs and the administrative and economic organs in those regions.
The meetings seriously discussed important tasks, innovative goals and scientific practical ways to brilliantly implement the great programme of the rural revolution presented by the Party on the basis of the idea and spirit of the historic Plenary Meeting of the Party Central Committee and thus make a rapid progress in the agricultural development of the country and the improvement of the people's living.

Sectional consultative meetings were held to map out plans to perfectly carry out the urgent and important tasks for their regions in the struggle to thoroughly implement the decisions of the Seventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee.
