Ryanggang Province is directing efforts to improving the qualifications of teachers in rural schools.
At present, well over a hundred instructors of city and county teachers’ in-service training centres in the province are rendering active services at branch schools in mountain villages.
In consideration of its regional characteristics of having many mountain branch schools, the province dispatched excellent instructors in the city and county teachers’ in-service training centres there to create models and heighten their zeal for competition.
Prior to dispatching them, it saw to it that they made full preparations for multimedia and other educational reference materials conducive to substantially improving the qualifications of teachers in mountain branch schools.
It organized workshops on teaching experience and inspection of a class at work and a technical workshop to exchange and share successes, experience and knowledge gained in education.
It also specified the work to assign concrete tasks according to regions and the contents of activities.
Instructors dispatched to Kim Hyong Jik, Kapsan and Samsu counties and other regions are making selfless efforts to help branch school teachers in working out teaching plans and improving qualifications, and to disseminate excellent teaching methods and materials.
Meanwhile, the province sees to it that the instructors pay close attention to enhancing the teaching conditions and environment at branch schools, as well as improving the scholarly performance of students.
