The Spring National Footwear Exhibition-2023 closed.
On display in the exhibition were various kinds of footwear produced by over 50 units across the country.
During the exhibition, officials, technicians and producers of scientific research institutes and production units shared and transferred successes and experiences through multilateral technical exchange, true to the Party’s intention which set the improvement of quality of consumer goods as the seed and main direction of the revolution in light industry.
Diverse kinds of footwear from Sosong Songdo Leather Shoes Company was highly appreciated for stylish appearance, lightness and high quality.
Leather shoes and trainers for men and women from Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory, and Ryuwon and Sinuiju footwear factories stole the limelight of visitors.
Its closing ceremony took place at Pyongyang Yokjon Department Store on March 31.
It was attended by Vice-premier Ri Song Hak of the Cabinet, Minister Kim Chang Sok of Light Industry, officials concerned, officials that presented exhibits, lecturers, researchers, technicians and three-revolution team members.
Ri Song Hak made a closing address.
He stressed the need for all the participants to put spurs to developing new products and improving their quality so as to diversify footwear in terms of kind, shape and colour, make them light and durable and produce more famous commodities favoured by the people.
