A few days ago, employees of the Direct Sales Shop in Taedonggang District visited the house of war veteran Ro Chun Ae in Rungna-dong No. 1, Taedonggang District.
They handed over a bouquet and a framed picture to the veteran exchanging greetings.
The picture depicts Ro Chun Ae in military uniform with orders and medals.
They said to Ro that today our people lead a happy life thanks to the devoted efforts of the anti-Japanese forerunners and war veterans, earnestly hoping that the veteran would enjoy an honorable life full of vigor despite advanced age. She was deeply moved to tears.
Among them was Ri Song Ok, manageress of the above-said shop, who has paid deep attention to the life of the war veterans and disabled soldiers residing in Rungna-dong and taken care of them.
In our country there are numberless people who have devoted their sincerity to the war veterans, true to the intention of our Party which values the wartime generation as revolutionary forerunners and models to be followed by everyone.
The war veterans are respected by all of our people and they regard it as their noble obligation to serve the veterans like their real parents.
The birthday present to a war veteran reflects the moral obligation of those employees of the shop and other people in our country.
