An international internet seminar "Juche Korea--75 Years for Defending Independence, Justice and Peace" was recently held in Jakarta of Indonesia under the sponsorship of the Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
Present at the seminar in person or through video conferencing were personages of the Organizing Committee of the Festival and the organizations for friendship and solidarity in over 50 countries.
More than 110 congratulatory letters, video programs and written speeches were sent to the seminar by personages of political parties and public organizations and members of Juche idea study organizations of Asian, African, European and Latin-American countries.
Congratulatory speeches were made by Damian Ogbonna, Chairman of the African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People who is Co-Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, C. P. Mainali, Chairman of the Nepal-Korea Friendship Association who is Vice-Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and Raymond Ferguson, Secretary General of the Australia-DPRKAssociation for Friendship and Culture who is member of the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee.
The speakers said the 75-year-long history of the DPRK is a proud history in which the Korean people have defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country and ushered in an era of prosperity under the outstanding leadership of the peerlessly great men. The exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and His Excellency Kim Jong Un registered on the glorious journey of the DPRK serve as the wealth of not only the Korean people but also the entire mankind, they noted and added that the DPRK will write another 75-year-long history of independence in the future.
A keynote report was made by Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party(United Socialism) who is Co-Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu.
Speeches were made under the titles including "The DPRK Is an Independent State Embodying the Juche Idea" and "75th Founding Anniversary of the DPRK Celebrated".
A congratulatory message to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
