Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a reply message to Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on September 21.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the message extended deep thanks to the general secretary for sending sincere and inspiring congratulations on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
Noting that he rejoices at the fact that the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Laos with long history and good traditions have been steadily consolidated and developed as required by the new era and in line with the common desire of the peoples of the two countries, he expressed belief that the support and solidarity between the two parties and countries would continue to grow strong on the road of accomplishing the socialist cause.
He wished the general secretary good health and bigger success in his responsible work for organizing and leading the struggle of the Lao party and people to build a prosperous socialist state.
