The Workers' Party of Korea regarded the housing problem as an issue of greatest concern of the people and presented its solution as one of the major tasks of the Eighth Party Congress and is carrying it out persistently every year.
As a result, new streets and villages have been built in all parts of the country one after another.
Such successes are ascribed to the energetic leadership of the WPK which devotes itself to the people.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK, is wisely leading the Party to make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people, regarding it as its revolutionary nature and mode of existence.
In September Juche 109(2020), he visited Taechong-ri, Unpha County of North Hwanghae Province where the flood damage rehabilitation was under way.
That day, he said: At such a difficult time as now, our people will pin their hope to our Party alone and wait for the measures to be taken by it. Our people should never be discouraged or feel any inconveniences in their life by the natural disasters.
He warmly added: Nothing is more important than living up to the trust of the people for our Party which regards it as its noble motto to believe in the people as in heaven and considers them to be the root of its existence. So our Party has bent all the state potentialities to the unprecedented grand rehabilitation campaign for defending the people's happiness and dispatched the People's Army to the sites for rehabilitation of natural disasters across the country as the main force.
The WPK, which regards the people as the root of its existence, will take warm care of the people with full responsibility for their destiny and life to bring earlier a rosy future.
