The mightiness and vigorous spirit of the state are unthinkable apart from the tenderness and love overflowing the whole society.

The fine virtues and traits of helping and leading each other forward were intensively displayed among the Korean people in Juche 111(2022) when the Democratic People's Republic of Korea had to undergo a great turmoil since its foundation due to the inflow of a pandemic.

At that time, a number of people sent medicines, anti-epidemic goods, foods and money to preventive and curative organs, war veterans, honoured disabled soldiers and families in difficulties. More than 8,000 mobile service teams of different kinds were organized across the country and tens of thousand volunteers participated in the supply of foods, medicines and daily necessaries.

Workteam Head Kim Myong Sun at the Pyongyang Greenhouse Farm says:

"I still remember the 90-odd days in 2022 when the country suffered from a great turmoil since its foundation.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un called a consultative meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea on May 14, two days after the upgrade of the nationalepidemic prevention work to the top-level emergency anti-epidemic system. At the meeting, he said our society's tenderness and human feeling of helping and caring for one another in the face of hardships are key to and guarantee for a great victory in the anti-epidemic work, more powerful than any state-of-the-art medical science and technology and stressed the need to give fuller play to the excellent communist virtues and traits.

He proposed sending the reserve medicines his family prepared to the families in difficulties, earnestly praying for another peace and laugh at the families across the country. Listening to the news on TV and radio, I had an urge to do something helpful true to his intention.

So, I sent some goods to families that needed help.

Undeservedly, however, Kim Jong Un invited me to the National Meeting ofReviewing the Emergency Anti-Epidemic Work and highly appreciated our deeds.

He warmly said he derived great encouragement incomparable to anything else from our people helping and leading each other forward and further hardened the conviction that we can surely emerge victorious in the face of any trials as long as we have such a people. Listening to him, I felt once again our great strength of helping and leading each other forward."

By dint of the tenderness and love, the Korean people could tide over the anti-epidemic crisis at the shortest time and win a victory in the anti-epidemic campaign last year.
