Report of the Central Elections Guidance Committee
On the Results of the Elections of Deputies to the Provincial (Municipality Directly under the Central Authority), City (District) and County People's Assemblies of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea
Elections to the provincial (municipality directly under the central authority), city (district) and county people's assemblies of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea were held with success on November 26, Juche 112(2023) in the grandiose situation that the entire people across the country are accelerating the historic advance for the overall national rejuvenation, full of the great pride of being the citizens of the powerful and dignified DPRK.
According to the election results collected from the provincial (municipality directly under the central authority), city (district) and county election committees, 99.63 percent of the entire electors registered in the voters' list took part in voting.
0.37 percent of electors could not participate in voting because they were abroad or at work on the open sea and 0.000078 percent of electors abstained from voting.
Of the electors who participated in the elections, 99.91 percent of electors voted for the candidates for deputies to the provincial (municipality directly under the central authority) people's assemblies and 0.09 percent against them. 99.87 percent of electors voted for the candidates for deputies to the city (district) and county people's assemblies and 0.13 percent against them. Consequently, 27,858 workers, peasants, intellectuals and officials were elected deputies to the provincial (municipality directly under the central authority), city (district) and county people's assemblies according to the Law of the DPRK on the Elections of Deputies to the People's Assemblies at All Levels.
The elections to the provincial (municipality directly under the central authority), city (district) and county people's assemblies of the DPRK became an important occasion of clearly demonstrating the solidity and superiority of the most popular and democratic state and social system of Korea and the people's absolute support to and confidence in the DPRK government.
